Dr. Yabome Gilpin-Jackson is a dreamer, doer and storyteller, committed to imagining and leading the futures we want. As an applied social scientist, she is an award-winning scholar, practitioner, and writer. She is passionate about supporting leaders and groups committed to social action for a more positive world. She is on the Board for the Canadian-based NGO, The People’s Foundation for Sierra Leone, whose mission is Igniting leadership and social change through education and empowerment. She is author of Identities, a short story collection about global African experiences. She is also initiator, co-founder and lead editor of We Will Lead Africa, an anthology series of everyday African leadership stories.
